Romans 8:22 – We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Again I have been walking my dog in Ecclesall Woods, where God’s invisible attributes can clearly be seen. The song birds, singing their little hearts out, the trees like many fingered hands, reaching in to the sunlight to wiggle their finger tips in the warmth. The aching beauty of the blue carpet of blue bells, and tantalizingly pleasing aromas filling my nose. My heart soared and found only God, and his all encompassing Love.
If this is “Creation Groaning”, if this is an imitation of what is to come. What staggering beauty and wonder have we yet to come? If this is a fallen Creation, what must the Garden of Eden have been like? And why where we so gullible to leave it behind?
Oh God, Goodness is your nature, how wonderful you are? You are right, your “Invisible Qualities” are so Self Evident. We are so blind, please open our eyes.
