I am a born again or charismatic Christian. I believe that, God created Heaven and Earth, and Everything therein, he created this to have a place to be in intimate relationship with his greatest creation, Man, whom he created in His image. He gave us free will to choose to love him, instead we chose to love ourselves and disobedience.
God is Holy and pure and could not tolerate our “Sin” and cast us from his presence. We were separated from God, in other words in torment. God put his master plan in place so that we could be, once again, in his presence enjoying his love. God is just and fair God, and could not simply ignore what we had done. There had to punishment for our sin. God also knew that we be destroyed by his wrath, so He sent his one and only Son, Jesus, to be punished in our place, for all sin for all time.
Then Jesus was resurrected to life and raised to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God, assuring us, those who believe in Jesus and His sacrifice, a place with him at the right hand of God as a fully adopted son in God’s family for all eternity. We have a living God who loves us, and done all of this as a Free Gift to everyone, requiring NOTHING from us.
