Shall I bring a Quiche to the Party – by no means<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Last month we finished looking at the Wrath of God, so lets look at this mutual love God has with us, and what we need to bring to the “Party” or more precisely what do we need to bring to make the relationship work?<\/p>\n

The really great news is, there is nothing we can bring. We do not have it in us to bring anything of worth \u00a0to this wonderful relationship, for it is by the grace of God, that we have been saved, it is by His grace that He loved us and did not unleash His “Wrath” and destroy us and start again with something “Better”! We cannot “Work” at , or by own effort make God love us any more or any less. There is nothing that we can “Do”, there is no “Action”, or “Task” we can perform to gain God’s love. For in His grace He loves us anyway, no matter how “bad” or “good” we think we are.<\/p>\n

For it is only through FAITH in Jesus, faith that, as a free gift, \u00a0Jesus died for OUR sins and saved us, and rose from the dead to assure us of eternal life with Him, at the right hand of God (Romans 8:34<\/span>). So God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have ALREADY done all the work that is necessary for our salvation. He has done this as a FREE GIFT to all of us, and all we are required to do is reach out and take the free gift of God’s handiwork that is already on offer. How hard is that!<\/p>\n

So all we need to do is accept the gift of Love and enjoy the most wonderful loving relationship in the whole of creation. A relationship, so wonderful, that since the beginning of time we have been trying to define it, and failed. I urge you,with all my heart, to enjoy God and relish the the joy of the good works He has prepared in advance for you.<\/p>\n
